Stand alone LED. 1920 lumens, 22.8 watts and 1.97 amps. One very amazing light, easy to install, high quality and extremely bright. With this light on, there is no need for your head lights. Light and mounts can be found @ http://www.offroadobsession.com.

Whoa - they're pretty proud of that thing! It costs more than HID's!

They are not cheap at $340 but, are a simple plug and play vs. the HID. It's all a matter of taste. I do not like the idea of altering my quad.

Oh, I understand what you're saying. Have you had them for a while? I wonder how the durability is on them.

Go to http://www.rigidindustries.com and check out their durability test. While I have not had it too long, it has a great warranty and has certainly been tested in the real world.

Hey JJ, We've got a Rhino at my place of employ and need better lighting for night operations. We've been using headlights (weak), flashlights, and a TIC with poor results. This looks to be a pretty good option, what do you think? Cost is a concern, so would one be enough or would two pointing forward at angles be worth the cost? Any ideas or input. We're also looking for low draw scene lighting for a boat as well. Thanks, Lizard

I am pretty impressed with the 6". The next step up is a 10" and of course the price jumps as well. Your idea of angling two 6" would certainly work. Contact Larry @ http://www.offroadobsession by phone and pick his brain. He has them mounted on a UTV and can give you first hand opinions. They also make a 4", two of those would save you some $ and might be just what you need.

I hope it works for you. Larry stated the prices have dropped by about $50 per unit ( my luck ). I really like the Outlander. While it has a few issues, overall it is a great desert quad. Take care.
