I went hunting for meteorites at Red Dry Lake in Arizona last Sunday. Nothing.
So then I went up to Gold Basin and searched for gold and meteorites. My MXT metal detector just doesn't seem to have the right setting or something. My friend's GMT worked great though.
Saw some huge animal tracks. My photos didn't come out. But I checked online and matched them to Mountain Lion (Cougar) tracks.

Thanks for the video's.

Bob can you get a differnt coil that will help???? It looks like the gold bug 2 and the GMT are popular for gold and meteorites. I think they change coil on the GMT for gold. (still learning)

From what I can see, the MXT should work fine. After researching it a bit, I think that the operator (me) needs a bit more experience and education on the correct settings. I'll keep working with it and see what happens next time.
