Hello all, I live in San Diego and am glad to see there are others with the same hobby. I look forward to contributing what I can.
I'm very interested in self sufficiency and packing efficiently for any journey. I spend much of my free time in remote parts of the desert.

Thanks for the replies. I ride a 2wd Kawasaki Bayou 250. I camp solo much of the time and wanted a machine i could get out of any situation by myself. Its not the fastest but its better than walking and thats all that matters to me. I also carry it on the back of my truck on a receiver hitch carrier so smaller the better. I drive the truck in as far as far as I can, park the truck, then continue on with the quad. Heres a pic...

Thats a cool set :Score: up for your quad, My quad is about 700 lbs not sure something like that would work, but worth looking into.

Thanks DAVEF
